If you want to make the most of the fantastic sea food Jersey has to offer though, head down to the Oyster Box Beach Bar and Restaurant, nestled on the shore at St Brelade beach. The dining is chic yet casual, and you can soak up some sun while you dine on the terrace.

Jersey has a number of landmarks that require some attention if you’re visiting the island. From the ruins of Grosnez castle with its stunning ocean backdrop, to the lighthouse at La Corbière, these sites make a great coastal walk. Alternatively, take a trip to Les Écrèhous and Les Diroulles, the extensive rocky intertidal areas of warm water that houses a variety of wildlife, from seals to seabirds.

Whether you want to spend a day out on the water or up in the air, there’s so much to try. It’s a great location for surfers, with the main break on the west coast surf beach at St Ouen’s Bay, but there’s also plenty of space for those who just want to lie back and relax on a sandy beach.
The Shops in St Helier
Combining city style fashion and village style charm, the town at St Helier is charmingly compact. It’s not, however, low on options. With a number of designer boutiques and high street shops right next door to each other – not to mention a number of places to stop for a coffee – this is the perfect place for a relaxing day of retail therapy.
The Jersey Live Festival of Music, 30th – 31st August
The British Isles most southerly music festival is back for another year, with some great sets from John Newman, Ellie Goulding, Klaxons, and Duke Dumont. This two day event is great for music lovers, and those looking for a sunny festival experience.
Jersey International Car Festival, 6th – 8th June
The steep winding hills and stretches of coast in Jersey make for some magnificent driving, so it’s no wonder this motoring festival is so popular. With competitions, races and exhibits this is a great day out for car lovers and motor enthusiasts.
With its incredible versatility, Jersey is ideal as a summer holiday or even a long weekend getaway.
