The Potted Pig, ideally located right by the castle and the Millennium Stadium, serves up an ever-changing menu of locally sourced modern British food, with a bit of a French/New York grill influence. They’ve also got a fantastic selection of drinks, including real ales and bespoke gins! For those that like to step off from the beaten path, check out Milgi, deep in the heart of student Cardiff. Serving an incredible selection of hot drinks and elaborate cocktails this chameleonic café never fails to delight. Its eclectic interior is matched only by the Yurt in the garden, filled with mismatched cushions and sofas. It’s definitely worth stopping in for a cake (or a fry-up) and a couple of drinks.
